BioStation 2 is designed to perform recognition and authentication in an instant. By leveraging its powerful hardware resources and sophisticated algorithms, the device can recognize and authenticate up to 20,000 fingerprints per second.
BioStation 2 has an impressive memory capacity, which allows it to handle a large number of users. The device can manage up to one million fingerprint templates, which corresponds to a maximum of 500,000 users. In addition, BioStation 2 can store up to three million backup records, in case of server connection loss, to protect all records.
BioStation 2 provides fast data transfer which greatly improves the speed of streaming user and recording data. The device can send user information including high volumes of biometric data at a rate of 5,000 users per minute.
BioStation 2‘s new sensor allows the device to capture and process much sharper fingerprint images under adverse conditions. The new sensor ensures excellent wet and dry fingerprint capture performance, allowing the device to be used even in harsh environments. BioStation 2 has an IP65 certified weatherproof outer casing. IP65 protection allows system designers to place the terminal in both indoor and outdoor environments.
